Depending on whether you are local or are traveling in for treatment, your initial visit may be combined with treatment to minimize the number of trips needed.
Patients are generally seen on select Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Please contact our office for appointment availability. Email is the preferred method of communication, but if you would rather communicate by phone, please leave a message with a callback number and the days/times you can be reached.
During your initial consultation, Dr. Winter will discuss your current concerns, review your dental history, perform a brief oral exam, and begin formulating possible treatment options. Dental x-rays or impressions may be needed to assist in developing a comprehensive plan of care. During your second appointment, a complete examination is performed, and other diagnostic information that has been gathered will be evaluated and discussed. Before and after photos of Dr. Winter’s work illustrating cases similar to yours will be reviewed to help you visualize and understand the potential outcome of your care.
Each consult visit will last approximately 1.5 – 2 hours, and visits can be combined for those traveling from out of state or when required. Our financial policies will be fully explained and presented to you in writing before treatment is started. We do not base our services on insurance reimbursement, but as a courtesy to our patients, we will complete claim forms so you can submit them to your insurance carrier for direct reimbursement.
At the time of consultation and prior to any treatment, we will provide you detailed information regarding your care including treatment options, phasing, or sequencing of treatment, and your financial investment.
Payment for services is collected at the time of treatment. Generally one-half the fee is due up front, with the remainder due at the time of final impressions. We accept cash, check and most major credit cards.
